That ending was so wholesome and entirely necessary. Although Donnie was always just joking, him realizing that he really hurt his friends’ feelings and apologizing for it was great character development and genuinely made you feel sorry for him. George absolutely needed to call out Barry for becoming just as toxic as Donnie was, and stop him from basically kicking Donnie while he was down. Barry realizing that he was also wrong was also amazing character development. Although I fully expect Donnie to continue taking playful jabs at the rest of the group, I don’t think he’ll be as toxic as he used to be before this “humbling” arc. I just hope they can all stay on the same page and not take things too far like this again. Do it for ol’ sleepy Joe at least. All he wants is to keep playing video games with his best friends 🥹
