For those wondering: Hall-effect thrusters (HETs) are plasma rockets that use an electric field to accelerate ionized gas and propel satellites and robotic vehicles.

I can’t wait until they start testing the laser sharks in orbit. The sharks never miss, very accurate. I understand the ocean testing has gone so well they want to extend the concept to orbit. The X37 seems too small for the shark tanks needed so I imagine a bigger version is being developed for the larger tanks. The US will have nothing to worry about with respect to space defence once the laser sharks are in position up there.

If EM Drive actually works the propellant isn’t needed. On orbit maneuvers could be made with just solar power. Theoretically it breaks laws of physics but they seem to indeed be testing it as well as the quantized inertia drive concept of David McCullough which I also think has DARPA grants for on orbit testing.

Chinese colleges are lame. The. Professor walks out into the class, and normally has a video projector. They watch the film until the class ends , and then that’s it. They will give a quiz exactly from the video. No discussion, question and answer. Student, we hear, hate it.

Nothing new. The NRO had a space program before Russia or NASA. We have shot down Chinese, Russian satellites and Iranian ICBMs in space. The coolest capability is the black spray paint. It flys up next to a satellite or "Russian Mars Probe hint hint" and covers it in black paint fowling solar panels and causing it to over heat and crash. War in space has been going on since WW2.

This “space craft” has got to be aging like crazy by now, I would have to assume it’s not the only one or it’s been rebuilt to protect its structure integrity. I have wondered a few times what this craft does but right now I’m wondering how many are there, are newer models already available for use, what other follow up models are being developed and what does this thing really do and what are the future plans for the future systems this craft has provided data for

How do know this US orbital aircraft is more advanced than China’s? Mr. Tech, you don’t even know exactly how advanced US Orbital is let alone China’s. If China’s space plane is not as advanced as US, then why the US is so shocked about China’s. You’re just reporting out of your own speculation.
