US showing it’s ‘my way or the highway’ with UNSC veto: Marwan Bishara

Al Jazeera’s senior political analyst Marwan Bishara says that, once again, the US’s veto demonstrated a policy of “it’s my way or the highway”. “Palestine could only be a country the way the United States sees it, or Israel sees it, only at the time that it’s suitable to the United States and within the geopolitics and the global interest of the United States,” Bishara said. The US is therefore sacrificing the “freedom of Palestinian people for egotistical and narrow interests of the United States and Israel”, he said.

I take an issue when on the one hand palestinians say "we are oppressed, we are not allowed to live, we live in prison like conditions, we have nothing,: and on the other they say "we are one of the most educated in the world, we made a society despite occupation" and yet they never show evidence of this society. it only exists in vague statements. and anytime anyone from israel tries to claim the palestinians have this highly educated complex society they are shot down as just trying to oppress. one side is lying, and only one side changes their story to fit their needs.
