People with fake education certificates and duolingo got approved for USA VISA on first attempt while here iam who got rejected thrice with all genuine certificates and IELTS 7.5 band. Sometimes it all depends on luck tbh. No amount of preparation gets you luck though. But i feel am very lucky because i have a decent paying job in my home town and i get to stay with my family and friends. I thank god for this.

The video shown here is absolutely right. I am 46 years old Indian citizen had been living in Singapore for 20 years, since last I moved to Suffern, NY in 2021. I got my F1 visa in my first attempt in 50 sec officer's question. US student visa is not that easy to get even you have a good TOEFL/SAT score with millions of dollars financial background. The visa officer is a kinda mentalist who is capable to dig your mind of what your real intention of your studies in US, whether you gonna return or will be stayed back.. A personal advise to all F1 students ready for interview is.. ""DONT LIE"" TO THE VISA OFFICER.

These were the questions asked to my son when he interviewed for the F1 student visa, if anyone interested (only take about 10minutes, his total time in the embassy was 45minutes, a record) ☺️ : my father and my agent prepared about 30 simulated questions and we practiced the answer everyday for 30days, and we prepared all the documents in advance, turn out the day of Visa Interview, not many people queue and we came early so still have good moods, the Visa Interview Officer was a white US middle aged person which was very nice and spoke English not too fast, so I understand clearly, he asked only 6 common questions and only ask about the financial doc but never asked to see it. If you interested, here are the questions : 1. Where do you want to study (city); 2. Name of the college/university (he didn't ask proof, Letter of Acceptance, etc.); 3. What major; 4. Who finance your study (didn't ask proof); 5. What are your parents do for living ; 6. He ask why choose 2years college (because I want to transfer to university after). PS. visa grant also dependent to rejection rate of the particular country, eg.some countries have better acceptance rate compared to others, the data available in the internet

I did go through such an interview, which was a while back though (in 2008). I was 16 and excited to go study at a High School, travelled with an agency, knew there was gonna be an interview - never knew you could 'fail' it though and so preparing for it never crossed my mind. I knew my intentions though and that they were legit so I should've been fine with any question. So when they did start asking their questions, I did notice there were critical ones.. or.. rather 'in depth'. But - I was fine, even without studying potential questions prior because when you go through the process of making that decision (to go abroad) you do ask yourself alot of their questions already and have an answer to them. And if not that, others before them might have asked you the same questions, so my honest advice is to take yourself through why you chose to go abroad and it helps to tell others about it so they can ask you more questions, that also prepare you. This goes for the embassy interview at home as well as the one in the US once you land. I remember questions like: What did you come here for? My A: for an academic year abroad Q: Does your home country not have schools? My A: Yes, it does but I am trying to really learn the English language as well as get to know the people and culture over here. Q: Can't you learn it from books at home? My A: I could, wouldn't be the same as learning it by how it is really spoken natively neither can you study the intercultural experience, so that's why I chose to come over. In the end, they turn friendly and even say Welcome to the US. :) It's not really something to worry about too much, you'll be fine.

Hello. I am 38 female born in Romania with german passport and living and working for over 10 years in Switzerland. I work in a hotel, F&B department. I ve got a working contract for 18 months, trainee program, in Florida. I am waiting for the documents so I can apply for a J 1 Visa at the US embassy in Switzerland. I am a little bit concerned about the interview and get the visa. I do not have strong ties to my country Romania not even to Germany where my parents are living. I do feel more at home in Switzerland but how to prove that. I am thinking to open a business/ hotel, after coming back from my trainee program in US, having the necesary knowledge. The trainee is in room division department, divided in 3 phases. I am divorced no kids and no relationship. How can I prove that I am coming back to Switzerland or what should I take care, be prepared for the interview? I want to have an exchange year in US since I was in school but my parents didnt allowed me and couldnt affoared it. After I got merried very early with 20 and my husband didnt allowed it. So now that I am divorced I want to havd this experience. Thank you for your help and any kind of advise. Can I apply this month for green card lottery before having my j 1 visa interview? Or is taking part to this lottery before getting the visa a reason nit to get the J 1 Visa?

No. All they care is about how you can survive there on your own to support yourself and the documents that need it. Rest of them are simple questions like what are you coming for?

@@StrifeHale Man, if only I was aware of these opportunities sooner, I would've told my parents to save up for a much better quality education. They've already invested too much in these overrated good-for-nothing schools that prepare me to be filtered out by all the different competitive exams out there(jee, neet) that give me no guarantee of a rewarding job for participating in this rat race. Sucks.
@StrifeHale3 жыл бұрын
@@samuraijosh1595 Well atleast you know something with experience. You need lots of social connections to get a job in usa. It's not too late for now, make some friends and also colleges doesn't matter. Companies want your skills, but not where you studied.

@@StrifeHale hello, i have applied for US visa, and i have add my mother as a sponser. But she is housewife and currently not doing any work. plus she is not a tax payer, my father manages her account. My question is that if they ask for my mother's tax returns so can i show them my father's tax returns?? tell them that my father is supporting from my mother's account?
@StrifeHale3 жыл бұрын
@@syedumerali8337 Not really important to say that your father pays your mother tax. All they want to know is, who's supporting you and if you have enough funds in those accounts. But, carry those tax slips in case if needed. They don't really ask who's paying tax or other stuff. Tldr; If you are showing that your mother is supporting you, be sure to have enough funds in your mother's account.

Depends on the country you’re applying from, but mostly the possibility of getting a visa to study in a community college is very low.

No that doesn't happen, see for f1 visa.. It's a non immigrant visa so you are purely going there to study and so you need to give the intent to come back. But if you end up getting a job then that's totally fine, as you will be sponsered work visa

@johanxavier_4 жыл бұрын
Legally with the F1 visa you are SUPPOSED to return to your country once your period of academic study is over. So when you are applying for this student visa, if you demonstrate the intent to stay in Ammerica and immigrate, they WILL reject your application. So for the interview, talk about plans to return to your home country. It's absolutely okay if those plans change later on in life and you get to America and decide to go through their legal immigration process but just make those plans after you receive your student visa.

The tax thing in my country is the tax statement from the tax body concerning the sponsor' account. My uni dont ask for it either, but the Bank Statement or and Bank Reference, and the account mutation (monthly report of in, out, and idle)
