Actually they claim on a Australian defence site that this is not the finished plan model of Ghost Bat.. this one is just to test it's AI if can perform as planned. The finished design still under secrecy is bigger.

@@panayotisdamianakis3658 Because we aren't telling anyone what the capabilities of this drone are. Also i have seen a interview with the head of RAAF giving out some info but wouldn't go in to depth of it all. Same people also built the AI in UK Taranis AI stealth Bomber back in 2014.

Thanks for the update. By the way, we don't "speak" the acronym RAAF as each letter individually - the common usage is "R double A F" or Raff (pronounced as one word similar to wrap - or the words 'riff raff' - minus the riff obviously)

lol mate this is a Australian designed and built drone and just been given to USA to test to see if they want to buy it from Australia. SO that is why has Australian patches and Australian Kangaroo as deignated by Australian Airforce. Up until now only Australia has flown it and why is all Australian patches bla bla.

I love that airfield at Woomera where you can see nothing but desert as far as the horizon in all directions by the look of it. Not much opportunity for the spies to take a peek over the fence 😂 I seem to recall some Chinese tried to buy a cattle station in the general area but got knocked back - no doubt for security reasons

lol 160,000 sq kilometres of nothing but secretive hard to spy on land to play with weapons. Seen a story where Aboriginals went in to look at some special cultural tree they try to protect and said all can see is remnants of missiles and rockets strewn around everywhere. As they left someone checked all their photos to make sure nothing too secretive was seen on them.

The in flight refuelling footage & simulated footage, is of the MQ-25. It's the USN's upcoming in flight refuelling platform, to come into service around 2025 I believe.

Damn, AI speech is into the point where we barely recognise it, and soon won’t be at all. Surprisingly through the content on this fear was decent instructed fairly well. Also didn’t try to cut out Video instead kept it under 10 minutes which is good.

What it was built for Australia has a small Airforce and needs to bolster it. Why all Australian F35 come from factory with pilots drone controllable software. Also why it is named Ghost Bat is a Australian animal that hunts it's prey in packs. Australia plan to have one piloted F35 and a group of these all flying together.

the man jet fighter can use a targing Laser to mark the enemy jet fighters plane and ground targets so the drone will respond to the target market by the targing Laser

This will ultimately come with a ceramic scram jet engine capable of mach 6 . New gen fighters will not act as "fighters" in a traditional role.

lol who said it will. this is Australian drone and won't be getting a scramjet engine. A Australian company is building scramjet drones though and 1 will test fly this year.

@@HenriHattar Dear Henri... i know about HIFIRE.. they are the tests USA, Australia and UK did and obviously you didn't or would of said the name. and who Ray Stalker Australian is 1st to get essence of flight from scramjets. Also if knew about Australian scramjets you would know USA HAWC,DARPA, Raytheon scramjet in their missile looks like the same scramjet as Australia of the QLD people you speak of. Because they all worked together in HIFIRE. You would also know Australia's scramjet reached Mach 10 in 2007 HIFIRE and newest 5th Generation has reached Mach 12 in tunnel tests and is world's fastest scramjet. Professor Michael Smart actually The QLD guys you speak of are the one's test flying the scramjet drone this year. If knew anything about hypersonics you would know Ghost Bat could not withstand the temperatures of hypersonic flight. that drone in the pic is Ghost Bat. it is a Australian animal that hunts it's prey in packs using it's high sensors and why was named after it.
