Just discovered this and I’m starting to watch more of these, love seeing the comparisons. By the way Joe…the KFC pot pie is good. Some days you’re just in the mood for a good pot pie and they have it. I will say it’s more of a winter warm you up type thing for me when I order them as WI winters can be a bit on the cold side. I wonder if they sell more pot pies in cooler climates and more in the winter than anything else 🤔

I feel bad that I didn't catch the Chinese host's name, but I like him a lot!! He's got a great personality and sense of humor! As for the Domino's segment... I consider myself a pretty adventurous eater (I would at least try all of those pizzas), but most of them sounded really bizarre to me. 😂 I hope to see this host featured more often!

Fantastic series Joe and Tianran,Clearly shows the stark difference between the two countries,China uses food as a way to experience capitalism and expansive menu to capture Chinese market,while US food is much simpler,but a lot more details,love to see season 2,when exactly?especially a Starbucks episode,skipping that for season one sounds bizarre.

I like the sausage, egg and cheese McMuffins. But their hash browns are my favorite. Sometimes I just order a hash brown and that's what I'll eat for breakfast. So good and crispy. They're always fresh. I think McD's wins breakfast. I used to think Hardee's did when they had their country-fried chicken breakfast sandwich but they got rid of it where I am :( so f*** you Hardee's! Edit: Oh!!! Also the McChicken Biscuits were TO DIE FOR when they came out during the pandemic lockdown. THOSE were my fav. The bomb! And all-day breakfast!! God 😭😭😭 bring these all back. I miss it so much.

I have a totally different take on MacDonald's.... the worst of the worst for terrible corporate fast food. All marketing and no quality. In all the foreign travel I did for work; KFC and Pizza Hut was much much more prevalent than MacDonald's. (Flashback to a sign in a Pizza Hut in Pattya, in foruteen languages, "It is socially acceptable to eat pizza with y our fingers."
