Gracias por compartir este video. Recuerdo haberlo visto de niño. Muchos recuerdos trae esto y verlo en perspectiva con todo lo sucedido dentro y fuera del campo le da un contexto mayor. Incluso con las trágicas muertes de Andrés Escobar y el propio Robin Williams. Aún no entiendo porque eligieron cómo quedarían los grupos por comité según las ciudades donde jugarían los equipos.

Aqui no Brasil nem foi transmitido direito ele foi transmitido parelelo a final do campeonato brasileiro de 1993 , como a globo priorizou essa final não podemos ver o sorteio em seus pequenos detalhas cada bolinha saindo e cada grupo formado, só soubemos as formações dos grupos após o Palmeiras ter levantado a taça de campeão brasileiro.

To be fair, the draw ceremony started at 3pm EST on a Sunday afternoon during the last month of the NFL season. The only people watching on ESPN at the time were already soccer fans to begin with. Since then, all other WC draw ceremonies have taken place on a Friday evening in Europe, afternoon here in the US (save for 2002). I would imagine that the 2026 draw ceremony will be the same. Might be on broadcast TV, though.

Cómo lo indicó Blatter, en este bombo ni Bolivia ni Colombia podían ir a los grupos de Brasil y Argentina, por eso Camerún fue ubicado en el grupos de Brasil. Igualmente sucedió con Colombia, quien fue ubicada en el grupo de EEUU para evitar que cayera con Argentina, y para también evitar que México llegara al grupo de EEUU..
