The world is or was till just recently actually doing pretty good, with the exception of a few countries in Africa, Ukraine with the war, and same with Israel and being invaded by Muslims last October. But none of that is new. Really just "Same as it ever was". The biggest problem in the world isn't any one type of political system, as it is a consolidation of wealth and power to fewer and fewer people who then exploit a country and people regardless of the political system in the country. All countries seem to get infiltrated by the rich who try to get richer at the expense of the poor. It's been that way since the beginning of time regretfully. The truth is : there is no such thing as "middle class". That's a media term derived by the rich to try to make people feel better about the low salaries. No, it is still only the very rich, and then the rest of us poor SOB's But something that I heard that was disturbed me is what has been happening in Nigeria, and so many deaths. That there is a civil war of sorts, and none of it is being reported like the war in Ukraine or Israel. That's the media, again controlled by a few deciding on what subjects will be presented or not. And Nigeria is just a bunch of blacks dying, not white people like white people are in Ukraine so it doesn't get reported. Because the ones that own the media channels are white. But no, never racist with their coverage. No It's the lack of coverage which is racist.

I think that much fewer "Hannibalized" victims were military than civilian, but I never put together all published info.

When the UN authorized the American military campaign in Iraq based on lies repeated exhaustively by the Bush Jr. administration, International Law died. The war crimes committed in the Second Gulf War were not punished and the American political elite continued to behave as outside the Law because they were treated as if they were above it. At the time, when reflecting on this subject, I said on my blog that the UN had been replaced by a Zombie and the international community pretended it was alive because there was nothing better to put in its place. Now we are seeing a real-time genocide committed by Zionists in Gaza with diplomatic support, money and weapons from the US and Europe. The UN Zombie is being decapitated by the civilized West and no one seems to care about the inevitable consequence: the possibility of the world plunging into the nuclear abyss.

Thank you for yet another outstanding presentation and great guest. When Prof. De Zayas says ‘in the service of this relentless eliteless oligarchical system’ and their ‘relentless brainwashing of the population,’ he’s right, but I believe there’s more to this conceptualisation. It was Derrida who said ‘there’s nothing outside text,’ in essence there’s no space outside language. Your presentation was conducted in English, the lingua franca of the world, the ideological ‘town square’ where we meet, and it is at the centre of this pace that we need to look for the source of the malady. I live in the UK, probably the most controlled and contorted ideological and material space in the world. Here the present, and by extension reality, has disappeared. The entire nation is a giant movie set, where the ruling order has, over several generations but especially in the last two decades, has literally industrialised psychosis. The actors of this expanding stage and staged reality are not ‘brainwashed’ per se, but have been duped into thinking of themselves as ‘stakeholders’ in the future tech reveries and fantasies of this ruling kakistocracy. In essence these ‘stakeholders’ are from one side hooked to the fake, ersatz narrative by their identities and on the other jacked into the system by their financial and existential life lines. No independent intellectual/ideological existence is possible outside this state’s prevailing narrative. In fact the population are just minions, constantly engaged in reading their sustaining narrative’s demands, and resonating accordingly. In short active participants in the deception, hoaxes and lies of the ‘state’ because these lies are highly lucrative to the overall economic state that sustains them. This is the dark side of what Prime Minister Thatcher called the ‘stakeholder society,’ except she didn’t then elaborate on what exactly are we meant to be stakeholders in. It is clear now that this stake-holding is in a vampiric economic system built on the proceeds of war, destruction and economic exploitation of peoples, largely in the global south. This is the essential malady of our time, not just the brainwashing but the actual corruption of the individual who has been tricked into giving up her’s or his present, of ‘being’ on their own terms into being a stakeholder into an imagined fantasy that they are paying for and will never live to see or enjoy.

@29:00 correction: an electoral system is not fully mature until you get rid of partisan political parties and have all elected representatives vote purely based on their wisdom and compassion, with justice at the forefront of their thinking. And the electorate free to elect anyone of sound mind and judgement. (A good system for this compromising fewest (one) of Arrow's Theorem constraints is a *_cumulative vote_* system, and that is best run highly locally, so fairly small electorate regions where people can easily know their candidates in character.)

Dr Zayas: In the circumstances that you have very frankly and honestly described, if it is the case that the US, Germany, Israel and indeed any other countries of Europe or Western World who are all members of the UNO but do not follow the International Laws and can openly breach such Laws, must be mentioned in your Geneva School of Diplomacy Official Syllabuses and covered in your study/research that so and so super powers can breach the international law without facing the consequences. It will be worth pointing out the recent Israel attack on the Diplomatic mission in Syria as a real example. Not only this you should consider appropriate legal solutions to overcome such problems or conclude if that is an impossible idea despite all the progress we have so far made including visits to the moon. You must show the WAY forward to the World and make history, here is your chance. If you want any help/guidance on specific points, I would like to try and you can consider many draft proposals.........

Pascal - do check out the terms of the NATO-enforced "peace treaty" in the Serbian civil war in 1999. Both parties (Serbian and Kosovans) rejected the terms of the proposed peace treaty. One of the terms was that no US participant of the implementation of the plan (esp. the military!) would be liable for any crime committed by them. The parties were given 14 days to commit, and when they refused, NATO's bombing campaign started.

Switzerland is small enough and uncorrected enough to do this. In the US, the computer results would be manipulated because of the large number of citizens and the many people who could be induced to vote for some sort of pay.
