One thing as an American hockey fan I would add as a caution--the US had the best team because Canada's best eligible players are already in the NHL. I root for the USA, but let's keep it real.

@fredirecko They're not ineligible, but if Conor Bedard is playing for the Black Hawks he can't be playing for Canada. My point is Canada's best players are better than the US's best players, so they're already in the NHL. If the US's top players were better they wouldn't be in this tournament, but they're better than everyone else who is there.

It's just a kid's tournament so I don't make a big deal over it, but you don't think adding Bedard, Fantilli & Korchinski would have made the Canadian team better? If the top US players were as good as that they'd be in the NHL now instead of still being in college. Logan Cooley is the only eligible US player I can think of who is in the NHL. I'm a US fan, but just trying to be realistic.
