I’m relatively new to radio but already realise it’s not amateur radio, it’s amateur antenna. I’ve spent more time reading about, calculating, building and deploying antennas than anything else. These videos just feed the enthusiasm. Thanks & 73 from MW7IOL

Excellent and inspirational video. You prove time and time again that high power and high cost gear is not necessary for DX.

I had five Australia contacts in a row last night from Massachusetts, each over 10k miles .. using a 6 watt radio SSB (voice) and an inverted vee at 55 feet high

Nice job with your portable half-square antenna. CW is great! I wish I had been around to work you...!!

At 1:49 ... "This looks interesting. What have you got going on here?" For such questions, a handout/flyer about Amateur Radio saves a ton of talking. In VY3YE's case, a list of his books would be ideal.

With a good antenna and good propagation, you can go quite far.
