In Brazil, there is no investment in basketball, much less university groups, so winning any championship is already an achievement.

Now the USA team knows what it takes to play at the highest level. Brazil has grown women playing, while the USA has college kids. Huge difference from college play to international play. Especially when you're playing grown women who have played the game almost as long as you've been alive. Let's see how TEAM USA bounces back once they get into elimination play.

😂😂😂Stop with the excuses. This isnt nothing new. Look at Brazil roster before talking. The problem is the rest of the world has caught up with US basketball. We are so arrogant to think otherwise. International teams play more physical...more fundamentally sound than US players. That's why we been struggling the last couple of decades in international play. And its so easy for international players to come to the NBA and WNBA and adapt compared to these one and dones and younger nba players or women college players. The only credit I give to the WNBA is alot of their players go overseas to play with international teams in the off season.

Just that AAU nonsense that hypes them up to be one and dones. The players that do 3-4 years at basketball blue blood universities...the Dukes, the UNCs, the Kansases...etc get penalized for it. Even though they are more developed. So when the US plays international ball...they struggle or get exposed. No more beating teams by 30-40-50 points(that only belongs to the original Dream Team). Luka said it best..."Playing in the NBA is alot easier than playing internationally. Easier to score...less physical"
