I lived in Canada for more than a decade and living in US now. Canada is very safe and beautiful country. Nice people. Few draw backs are, too much of tax (though country gives back to citizens) and difficult to get high paying jobs. Very good policy is getting PR and Citizenships.

Main issue is habitability, neenga sonna weather than main reason. that sums up life, business, job opportunities and people moving to Canada. Government is doing all they can, but business people are not investing because they don't sustain due to weather.

I’m following your channel from Australia for while and you guys doing amazing job and people like us , we are for away from USA and our perspective of USA has completely changed and stopped looking to migrate to US . Australia is much better place to live , weather safety and work opportunities and medical are great except housing market in Sydney and rest of the cities are affordable, keep your good work .

Nice Topic and research again👍, Guys, Canada or USA, the quality of life depends on your work and health . The best thing is save as much wealth or money $’s you can in your working years, money can get you more freedom , live your choice of life in place you like in later years. All these western countries immigration policies or other policies are highly politicized and will be revealed at different life stages for people to decide. Being said that for people of adaptive nature both countries are good to settle and live .

In Canada every town is having medical clinics where minimum charges is C$50. U can just walk in and see the doctor. APART from this there is family doctor concept where you can consult and for general illness he will treat and refer to specialists if needed. All expenses covered under insurance.

Hi Arthi and Prem thanks for your excellent comparison of US and Canada . Being a Canadian citizen for more than 25 years I really thank Canada for the high quality free medical care and 100% coverage of medicines for senior citizens over 65( depending on your income). Costco pharmacy delivers free your medicines by courier if you register. As you said waiting time for special treatments may take between 3-6 months depending on the severity. Winter lasts from Nov- May and summer June to September. Best transport facilities both bus and subway( Go bus, Go train for fast reach) best Indian and Srilankan restaurants, Tamil TV and radio stations are some of Canada’s special. Senior pension is paid in full if you live for 40 years and normally paid to anyone who lives for 10 years at the age of 65.Bit long story about Canada.

am in usa..still in the process of getting green card.i feel I can get some kind of belongings in India but I don't get that feel in usa.though we have friends here I feel some kind of fakeness.when we meet them also esp indian ladies will boast abt their husband,kids .I feel everyone is opportunist here..may be we are all migrants hence that attitude I couldn't understand.i also feel the culture is totally different and when I think when my kids are married how will they be.we don't have any relation here.whether we will be left alone ..so we have planned to earn money and if in future we wanted to settle in India then we can move...

@@ArthiPrem no private hospital here. One of my friend’s wife was pregnant and was waiting for 8 hrs in ER. It is pathetic. The health care system can’t handle sudden influx of the immigrants population. Government is not planning properly and causing the people to suffer. Need to mention about the housing crisis. Small houses are selling for 1M and we can lock the mortgage rate only for 5 years. This is ridiculous. We need to pump our lifelong savings to get a house and still thinking that I need a bigger house in future. Pathetic right? Only benefit is that the immigrant process is streamlined. And straight forward. That is the reason many immigrants are moving out of Canada (to other countries) after becoming citizen.

Canada has many options to save and invest. The 401k version of Canada is called RRSP. We also have something called TFSA (Tax Free Savings Account) which you can use to invest your money and all the profits you make is tax free (There is an annual limit for contributing though). For home buying, there is a scheme called FHSA (First Home Savings Account) which you can invest your money in whatever instrument you want for buying your first home ...

Yes outside Canada experience, it's an excuse they say for exploiting people. Recruiters will say that there is no Canadian experience and simply ignore our profile. People with PR itself are struggling to get the jobs for the same role or current job position they held and start to apply for one or two position below with huge hit in Salary. It takes on average 6 months or more to get a first job for many, there are many hardships permanent residents faced in Canada. Some People say they got a job in a month, then they are very lucky or someone might have referred them for that position. Also, one need to see the salary they have agreed for that position, it might be miles below market average.
