Redhead here 🙋‍♀️ delivered both of my kiddos with no pain medication and it was the hardest thing I’ve ever done! But I took pain medication in post partum and had to stop because I was the small percentage of people that got hallucinations with it 😅 never considered maybe it was a redhead thing! Also, Katie thanks for the “superhero” comment, made my day! 🙌🏻

As a red headed woman I appreciate Katie’s compliment and I will take superhero😂 after my 22 hours of active labor followed by an emergency csection with my son, I was up and walking around WAY sooner than most people and every nurse kept saying that they’ve never seen someone not get dizzy standing up right after. I also was at church 2 weeks postpartum in jeans and everyone called me crazy. Next time I’ll just tell them it’s because I’m a superhero 😂

I can definitely relate to Jakes question about anesthesia in general. When I had my C-section it took over an hour longer than normal to get the spinal block to take effect. Same with dental work it is noted in my records that I require more. And whats really weird if I take something like NyQuil it has me up all night... but I'm also a brunette 🤷🏻‍♀️
