I mean I agree just because of much more genji and doom can do. Like super and hydron just couldn’t clutch bc there kits are too slow. Bastion cannot headshot and guxue just ran around them the whole game. Like the ceiling on bastion is so much lower bc he has no movement. Like this match felt like us just got abused for being to stable on counting on long cooldowns to save them, and china exploited them every time the cooldowns expired. I’m so glad that bastion is not the meta it seems for this world cup

@@Johnsmith36346 yeah this is my read of it too. our dear content creator was saying it was a mechnical outclass in the heat of the moment, but rewatching this, the dive comp just has better uptime. If enough members of China survive the first cycle of defensive CDs they get their abilities back first and go in for the kill.

I feel like the teams that play proactively and aggressively are being rewarded in the OWWC. It seems like slower sustain based team comps and strategies aren't holding up against teams that are willing to go for high risk/high reward individual plays. The teams that take 1v1's and are prepared to live or die by their mechanics are doing well.
