@David13spurs6 жыл бұрын
Suppressors and silencers are two different things. Silencers silence most of the sound of a gun or rifle and suppressors suppress the flash coming off the muzzle so you can not be seen by the enemy.
@whydidimakethis1116 жыл бұрын
You're thinking of flash hiders. "Silencer" is a term often used interchangeably with suppressor, but suppressor is much more accurate to what it actually does. These, among other things, will reduce the flash and lower the volume of the gunshot. You can't silence any kind of rifle shot, unless you use subsonic ammunition, because bullets still travel fast enough to break the sound barrier in most rifle cartridges.

@@BlckCloud73 actually ParaRescue here are the US's top combat special forces units. they are trained in all circumstances like the seals. but instead of trying to have stealthy SOP. they are trained to rip through the front lines of enemy forces, pick up 150~300lbs of SEALs on their backs, and fight their way back out. they are a recovery focused special forces unit with the fighting skills better then the SEALs to get their jobs done. their job is to land HERE. go HERE. get THIS. and GET OUT. not. land HERE. try to get HERE. find SOMETHING. dispose of anything in the way. and then GET OUT. ParaRescue is a simpler mindset. not designed for covert and intel gathering. they are there to push into enemy lines, and get out with who ever is stuck in those lines... by force if they must. i agree. SEALs are good at their own operations. but SEALs arnt generally built to take on the enemy head first like ParaRescue is. Of the roughly 200 Air Force Cross recipients, only 24 are enlisted rank, of which 12 are Pararescuemen. They are trained in: 9 weeks of para rescue/Combat Rescue Officer Indoctrination Course 3 weeks of Army Airborn school 5.5 weeks of Airforce combat diver training 1 day of Navy Underwater egress training 2.5 weeks of airforce basic survival 5 weeks of army free fall and coordination and operations school 37 weeks of pararescue EMT-Paramedic training 24 weeks of USAF pararescue specialization course. 10 days of Advanced Pararescue operations course. =87 weeks roughly What do the SEALs get training in? 8 week Naval Recruit Training 8 week Naval Special Warfare Prep School 24 week Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL Training 5 week Parachute Jump School 26 week SEAL Qualification Training 6 month Professional Development - Individual Specialty Training 6 month Unit Level Training 6 month Squadron Integration Training =83 weeks roughly they are trained for different aspects.
