I love that she said she wanted beam gold and an uneven bars medal! You can tell she was hesitant to say so and most athletes would be koi about their hopes and aspirations but I actually think it’s really special, admirable, and refreshing for the sport that she’s forthcoming with her dreams

Beautiful. Suni is literally rebuilding her confidence in the trenches, whereas others have had a year of various meets in the year to connect their training to their competition performances. So while you are complaining about her, who matches what she does for this team and can be trusted to deliver? These emotional replies to her presence are so silly.

Okay no offense but did you see her at trials… she almost fell both days and actually did the second day. She would not have made it if it weren’t for the injuries

@@MegaVbnv Please stop invalidating people's accomplishments with hypothetical scenarios. If there were no injuries, surely her performance could have been different also. She literally vaulted a few minutes after her close friend (Kayla DiCello) got injured. Her bars alone could also have made her into the team.

@@MegaVbnvthis is a toxic comment and also probably wrong. Think what you want but most leading WAG commentary had Suni on the team even with Kayla, Shilese, and Skye uninjured. Her balance beam is absolutely capable of winning gold in Paris, and you’re wrong to think it isn’t!

I'm so proud of her how how she's overcome her trials to be where she is now! I hope she continues to prioritize her health, emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually. I'm so glad she'll get to go to Paris. And I'm so glad she has Simone there as a teammate and friend who will support her as well. All the best to these ladies when they go to Paris!
