General steady state cardio will hardly translate to sprint specific speed endurance in the 100 metres, which relies on developing anaerobic pathways and adaptations

I used a conversion formula which is pretty accurate to convert 40yd times into 100m times. In this race, I decided to make him keep the pace he pretends to do at his age (on twitter), but maybe you guys right 😉 I should have added maybe 0.5s or a bit more due to his age and considering the fact that 100m is long for athletes that are not trained for THIS event in particular 📝✏

@@SamKumar-ny4go I'm a girl :) But yeah, that's why i say Travis time is actually pretty good. As for The Rock, even in his prime I can see him only maintaining speed for a very short distance. His weight isn't gonna have him sustain for 100m. Running is more than just being muscely and bulky. You have to be light on the feet as well. I know the rock even in his prime wrestling days was more agile than many his size but 11 seconds would be amazing if he can pull that off.

So Rock's 4.72 would be 12s flat BUT he is old and much heavier now and he won't be able to have the endurance with the 3 athletes above. So he would slow down much more. His final time according to my estimates should be around 13.4-13.6 seconds.

Of course. Especially in guys like Dwayne that do not sprint. I mean, he'd be gassed by the 60m mark, only the best of the best olympians can afford to not lose much speed in the last 20/30m so he would definetly lose a lot of speed much before that. 100M is short but if you try to run it flat out it is very demanding.
