Good question! Iba yung process dun, especially if you want to donate or discard the firearm. If a firearm or part of a firearm is to be discarded and surrendered or donated to the PNP-FEO, ang punta mo sa Camp Crame ay sa Supply and Accountability Office (SAO). Dun mo ibibigay yung firearm or part of a firearm mo. If you still want to keep the firearm or give to the PNP-FEO for temporary safekeeping, then sa PNP-FEO vault yan. Pero may bayad yung storage.

You need to file an affidavit of loss for the missing firearm, have the affidavit of loss notarized and submitted to PNP-FEO para alisin na nila sa name mo yung lumang firearm.

You need to report to the PNP-FEO the death of the gun owner. Alam naman nila kung ano yung mga firearms na nakaregister sa name nung owner na yun. Please bring a death certificate to report the passing of the gun owner.

There is no more ballistics testing when selling a gun because the gun that is being legally sold has undergone that at some point before it was sold to a civilian. The payment can be made immediately before the online transfer step is done.

This is a very good question. Hindi ko pa nasubukan yan. I think puwede mo na i-claim yan sa PNP-FEO since may LTOPF ka na. Pero you have to ask them for the license and I think you need to settle the storage fee and FA Registration fee with them. You might also need a deed of sale from your dad kasi you need to make official the transfer of ownership from him to you. We need to ask teh PNP-FEO in a livestream for the best answer to this question.

Good question. I suppose the answer to that indirectly is yes because the police might look for that gun and if that gun is hidden in your house then you will be liable for "owning" a loose firearm. The best solution is to submit an affidavit of loss to the PNP-FEO.

You need to get a provisional LTOPF. It's a temporary LTOPF meant to allow a surviving member of the family to hold onto those guns and transfer them to another LTOPF holder.

The holder of the dead person's firearm must get a provisional LTOPF or a full LTOPF and have the firearm transferred to the new owner, if it is sold or the holder intends to keep it. The old license must be shown to the PNP-FEO so they don't tag the dead person's firearm as a loose firearm. There is a lot mopre to it than that, but the Provisional LTOPF is the shortest answer.

No. It has to be re-registered to the new owner regardless of the remaining duration. This is a big problem because it adds costs to the original owner. I had to renew the registration of a firearm and transfer it to someone just a few days later. It doesn't carry over. It's another way that the PNP-FEO makes more money kasi, especially with firearms with expired registrations. Apologies for the late response.

Approval muna. And yung bayad, kahit sa simula, puwede naman, bago mo itransfer sa website. Unless the PNP has a valid legal reason to block the transfer, if pareho kayong may LTOPF, papasok naman yan.

Parang kelangan mo talaga "ibenta" yung firearm dun sa magmamana, para may deed of sale. Hindi ko pa nasubukan na walang deed of sale.

Take note that Class A Light weapons cannot be transferred and have to be surrendered to the PNP-FEO.

Depnde siguro kung Senador ka. But for most of us, hindi pa siya allowed. Pewedeng maghintay ng firearms amnesty para iparegister yan sa existing LTOPF, pero malamang kelangan ipaconvert to semi-auto gaya nung sinabi ng PNP-FEO sa Part 3 namin na livestream. Sayang, pero ganun talaga, kelangan natin hintayin yung Amnesty.

You can get it sa facebook page ng PRL. This is for teh FA Registration and LTOPF application forms. Copy and paste mo na lang sa MS Word yung mga pictures and print.

Deed of Donation ang mas appropriate sa purpose na yan. Doon din naman yan iuupload sa Firearm Transfer section ng FEO website kung saan Deed of Sale ang nakasulat na requirement.

You can make the deed before payment, pero mas maganda pag fully paid na. Yung PTT, kelangan may LTOPF at FA registration to request it. Hindi puwedeng deed of sale lang.

Okay, ganito, you need to file an Affidavit of Loss for that pistol and then notarize it and send it to the PNP-FEO ASAP. You need to indicate the model of the pistol and serial number as shown in your LTOPF.Once the PNP-FEO record that loss, mawawala na yan sa mga FA registrations na nakalagay sa LTOPF mo and okay ka na.

It depends, pero expect around 5k minimum. Para kasing nagparegister ka ng bagong firearm diyan.

Not anymore if the firearm being moved or purchased ammo for, is the PTCFOR registered firearm. Just don't forget to bring the PTCFOR.

Kailangan niyo muna irenew ang LTOPF niyo para valid lahat for the transfer process.

Good question. According to the process, yes, kelangan pa talaga. But many people skip this step na because it is impractical to get a PTT for someone who lives right next door.
