​@@donovanbond9930I was in Fort Benning in 2023 for OSUT, they have it more relaxed when the camera is on for more enlisting, but I do agree that it's not how it used to be, I thought I would get shark attacked and thrown at the lockers when I arrived but it was not the case, after the first few weeks I thought, "It's not as hard as I thought"

​@donovanbond9930 when did you drills scream when there was a camera crew around? Probably not often. Just because you were more miserable in yoir training doesn't mean it was better back then. I don't have to wait a month for my LES to come in the mail and I can call my squad leader off my personal cell phone without then trashing my room when I'm late. For the worse, more like, you had a worse time and want everyone else to be miserable as well.

Dude I just graduated, my battalion was 2-29 with Ares company. Future infantrymen, it’s gonna be a long 22 weeks trust me. However it’s worth it when you finally get to honor hill and get your cross rifle, best feeling in the world.

No complaints with this one, US Army. Very honest video. Though, back in the day, we didn't have ladders. We had a tower that needed to be scaled by pulling recruits up each level by hand.

the Repel Tower was my favorite BCT training. It was definitely fun for me but i always took my training seriously. Just.... its a whole different ball field in the big Army my guy.... so uhhh yea good luck my guy.

True story. We were going down the wall (this was at Treadwell Tower for my Fort Sill homies). We had this fat kid on the wall who was deathly afraid of heights and wouldn’t go down the tower despite our drills screaming. Finally one drill gave up and yelled “FUCK IT TRAINEE, THE POWER JUMP! STARTING POSITION, MOVE! IN CADENCE, EXERCISE” and when I tell yall this man BOUNDED DOWN THE WALL ON MUSCLE MEMORY

I recently went to JCLC (JROTC Summer Camp) and we did repelling. We repelled from a 110ft wall and it wasn't scary (At least to me) and was actually really fun.
