50 years after the passage of Title IX, female students and athletes still struggle to reach equality in important ways.

Despite the progress ushered in by the landmark Title IX law, colleges and universities consistently devote fewer resources to women’s sports than men’s, based on the results of a first-of-its-kind data analysis by USA TODAY in collaboration with the Knight-Newhouse Data project at Syracuse University.
For every dollar schools spent on men, the analysis found, they spent just 71 cents on women in those categories. Over two seasons, that added up to $125 million more for men than women in basketball, baseball and softball, golf, soccer, swimming and diving, and tennis.

No discrimination based on sex ... Yet ALL MEN are excluded from Participation in female-only sports programs and activities? Isn't excluding men sex discrimination? If women can reach the athletic standards of male programs, those few women should be permitted to participate in the male programs. Similarly if the men can perform at or above the female level, they should not be excluded. But hey - equality is only about advantaging women, isn't it!

What are women's sports? Basketball, soccer, tennis, golf, Olympics etc - all of these are men's sports - created, built up, made popular by men! Title IX bans sex discrimination - yet they exclude men from participation in the female sports programs and activities in colleges! That is illegal.
