Someone name me an athlete that broke 62 records in one season? I'll wait, because I haven't heard of any athlete accomplish break so many records in one year

Caitlin Clark will have REAL fans continue to show up at her games and support her despite the fake fans who now hate her.

I disagree. A lot of her real fans will leave with the white privilege situation. People are just sick of the race card. She could have been smart and spoke about just uplifting all women, but she caved. I know many, including myself, that will no longer be supporting her. This is why sports and the WNBA are failing so much. You can say we were never real fans. It's your opinion, but we still won't watch, and it hurt her a lot.

@freedomlost6466 Okay, well, she knew what backlash would come with her comments. Evidently, she was tired of the bullshit. She was sick of people harassing others in her name, using her name to spread hate, and to go after other players. Obviously, she didn't want to be used to promote some movement against black WNBA players or the league itself.

@@freedomlost6466I don't think you hurt her at all.

Don't hate her, she being young doesn't know the haters will never control you enough hate always leads to more and more of their hate..........

I think this coach is a mixture of laid back, intense, kind and fair. Besides, like Iowa folks, not egocentric. She looks so relaxed and rested. She also knows how to keep private private.

Here are facts: No one outside of the WNBA community knew Taurasi, Aja, Breanna and others. Caitlin Clarke Effect gave the WNBA and these women significanr visibility. Visibility equates to more money for the WNBA, teams and eventually the players. Reminding that the state of the WNBA is not that good. To say that it was growing before Caitlin is not as rosy as we are led to believe. Here are yearly ranking for attendances from 27 yrs of the league. WNBA saying past players have been building up the league is questionable. Yearly average attendances over last 27 years don't lie. Here is ranking of last 6 years: 2023 ranks 24th/27(yrs), 2022 ranks 26th 2021 ranks 27th 2019 ranks 25th 2018 ranks 23rd 2017 ranks16th Caitlin came and lifted2024 ranks 3rd27 yrs CAITLIN IS SAVING THE LEAGUE THAT WAS BALLING THEMSELVES TO OBLIVION. THE PRODUCT SUCKS AND NOT GROWING AT ALL. ENGELBERT MAY THINK SHE HAS POSITIVE GROWTH WHEN SHE TOOK OVER IS BASED ON THE LOWEST ATTENDANCE AVERAGE 27TH in 2021 AND SHE'S LIFTED THE LEAGUE ATTENDANCE in 2024.

The hater narrative is so overblown. Wish Bluder hadn’t added to this narrative.

No offense because I love Clark. I think she deserved the awards and is a generational talent and personality. Just think the hater story line is so ridiculous.
