Can we extend the console cable with a ethernet cable and connect the ethernet to USB with console cable ? I have a computer far away from router and wants to extend the connection with ethernet and then connect the console cable to port near the computer and to the computer.

Yes with a Console program such as Putty and for the device if it has a Console port.

I bought a montiyo usb console cable and download drivers for it and all I got was a sound when hitting connect in putty…
