Thank you so much, this really helped me. I did struggle a bit with the additional link because my browesers (Both chrome and Edge will not open it) What I had to do was right click on the link and hit save link as, save it in my computer and open it from there. Again, thanks so much.

I finally had a chance to upload the file you found at adafruit. When I click in the link in the comments nothing happends. I went to the exact adafuit page you were at and click on the link there and once again, nothing. Checked my download file and search my descktop, nothing. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

I have an even easier fix. I have a Yaesu FT-891, and loaded the driver from the official Yaesu website in to a Windows 11 laptop. I plugged in one of the cheap Baofeng programming cables. The laptop had never seen that cable before. Windows recognized it immediately. I verified by using CHIRP to program a UV-5R that I had laying around. Worked as expected.
