USB drive is Not Showing on TV | How to Solve the Problem USB drive working on TV

The USB drive was formatted in FAT32 and the tv is not recognizing it. Have tried using VLC app. Ensured permissions were granted. Still can't get tv to recognize the usb stick. Another tv does recognize it but won't play the mp4. However that tv is very basic. Trying to get it to play on a tv that should play it.

Mine works but not all videos appear , i have 9 only 4 of them are shown . Whats the problem? They're all the same file type

If it is FAT32 OR exFAT32 and if the files are more than 4gb it will not show try NTFS

I have a panasonic smart tv the only usb drives it recognises are the usb pen drives i have films on laptop hardrives in enclosures fat32 formatted no such luck panasonic tv wont recognise them okay in the bedroom i have an alba tv/dvd combi with usb the same usb enclosure laptop harddrives work fine so it goes to show you a cheaper branded tv can be better than an expensive one 🙄
