Sir, I have a problem. I bought a USB Flash Drive On-The-Go 2.0/3.0 (Samsung). When I connect it to my smartphone (Lenovo A399), nothing happened. It doesn't even connect. Why is that?

I recently bought a SanDisk Ultra dual 32 GB. Its connecting with other mobiles without any installation of drivers ( plug and Play), but not connecting to my Samsung galaxy SIII GT-I9300 .. I basically have little to none on my mico sdcad And have very vew apps I have down loaded on tab and most of then are on mico sdcard. But my TAB 4 .. device is fill up useable memory I'm not quite sure why maybe you have the answer, one last question . IF I backup my photos to a cloud or as its called DRIVE /MY DRIVE but still a cloud CAN I safely delete all the photos on my tablet and still have them in the cloud safely to be able to view them and edit them. . thamk you .

If you have the 7 inch wifi version, your tablet doesn't support that feature. From Wikipedia: "USB OTG is not supported on 7.0 inch version but might be[weasel words] supported on other sizes of the same tab. USB OTG is supported in LTE version of 7 inch tab 4.[citation needed]"

I also got a tipe of (jumper) but samething Nothing. . I have done some reading and now im thinking the (jumper)as i call int as is mostly not the right wording for its what ever name , NEEDS TO HAVE A POWER your tablet will read it as a power source first since that's the only thing it will read at least that's what my conclusion of everything is so far I will let you know how it goes I'm not purchased it yet will be doing that soon I'll keep you posted

This simply does not make any sense....when you buy a smart phone, it comes with a USB cable....why not just connect the USB cable to your phone, then to your computer and transfer files that way ? the only practical use I can think of is to transfer files from one phone to another...
