I'll give you a free level of immersion and realism as well: Use cockpit view and move the screen right up behind the wheel. I see that your setup is on the entry side, but you can mod this brake a bit to make it stiffer when mounting it on a sim rig. A stiffer spring and some finger springs to stiffen it up sideways makes a lot of difference to this product 👍

What’s the red hook on the left side? Mine got the same one and I don’t understand the purpose of It, if you pull back the e brake an inch you can put the hook around the bolt but it comes right back off the second you pull the e brake again

It’s pretty consistent and reliable actually. Been thinking about changing the spring to make it stiffer

Btw Karl Gosling have upgraded it with a spring, search his youtube video "Cheapo handbrake spring upgrade!" in the description he have link to them. It look close to your model so probably work.

I don't know if you did it improvised, but you should configure the steering wheel and the game well before taking it seriously. You would do better if you set it up. It has happened to me and I can see that you do not have it configured.

How do you configure other than just the calibration?

@@CaptainMeepSB You can setup a lut file look on youtube for a tutorial "assetto corsa wheelchecker lut tutorial" and look for a vid where the ffb settings are explained so that you can make your own ffb settings based on your preference.

@@CaptainMeepSB and btw dont use the essentials app on assetto corsa look for the gears app on the right side of your screen its is much cleaner

Assetto is very hard to me but at least I can drift in real life so I’m happy about that. I rather suck at the game than to suck at life you’re an inspiration 🤞🏽
