I havent yet come across the USB MIDI connectors yet as the majority of my synth collection is either vintage or reiisued vintage and have the much loved DIN type MIDI sockets. It looks like your Technics needs a replacement keyboard membrane, not a hard job to replace it, two cables to plug in and remove the old membrane and lay down the new membrane, the last time I bought one it was about £30

I thought about that but its keyboard is very clumpy compared to the NP-15 and I am fussy about these things.
