My problem is my brother and i have same brand phone and while i try to connect my phone using the cable it shows the device malfunction error but, if i plug my brother's phone to the pc using the same cable his work's

Hey listen you sound like a really nice intelligent person. If you want to teach these people teach them accurately to use your phones options there's no need to get into developer options All these options are there natively. Now remember in the developer options there are no options for the USB is controlled by who correct. Quick tip plug your Android device into say a TV or another Android device now in notifications click on it a couple times and Apple pop up menu that says this USB is controlled by????? And you didn't even have to go into the developer options That's how you fix things like this
