Hi Marc, great episode and thanks for selecting my comment to read! I do agree with you that the Minnesota and Maryland losses should not have occurred. We had a lead in both games and one could point to two key moments where things shifted (Joyner fumble against MN and missed FG against MD) but nonetheless we needed to close them out and did not. I do think our Achilles heel in 2024 was the defensive line and to a lesser degree special teams and improvement in both should lead to more wins. I also think a more experienced offensive line will provide better consistency as well. When rewatching games, not only did the OL have difficulty sustaining blocks in both the run and pass but there were so many throws dropped by wide open receivers that could have kept the chains moving.

Marc, I didn't anticipate getting your attention. Here's a thought based on today's episode. If Coach Lynn is offered and takes the PSU job, I suggest the pivot of elevating Coach Henny to DC (he has to want a DC job then HC [somewhere]). Coach Henny then makes the splash hire by bringing Aaron Donald (I know he hasn't coached but everyone likes a splash). Recruiting would surely likely elevate. I would hate to lose Coach Lynn right now, but the sky wouldn't be falling. The business is cutthroat so move with the punches and be aggressive. Lastly, I anticipate a splash LB hire.

Let's please stop with adding the skill players. We need LB's!

I went over the depth chart, the room is much lighter than in the past and they needed another experienced WR to go with the freshmen coming in plus RS Frosh, DJ Jordan.

Marc, you might want a show on how the NFL manages its roster. My view this is what SC , any school must do . Bring an NFL general manager on the program. When the dust settles in a year or two and schools stop buying rosters management of your roster will be critical.

Marc, does this mean the WR doesn't catch the ball either cuz it hits him in a bad place (i.e. his hands Ahem) like Deuce?? Sorry, I don't mean to be negative but I'm sick an tired of WR's who Can't/Won't catch unless they're open by at least 5 yds in any direction... Hope you're not bein affected by the fires. Fight On!!

If Coach Lynn wants to be a HC, he would get there much more quickly at PSU than at USC, and he would be gone.😢

Make him the highest paid Coordinator offense or defense in CFB. He is worth every penny

I would like to see SC finish in the top 25 ranked. SC has to walk before they can run. Playoffs would be a nice surprise though,.
@patrickwelch101013 сағат бұрын
I might as well still things up. SC can win the national championship next year. If a ND or even an ASU can change drastically by adding portal players then maybe SC will get it right. And Oregon could pay 200 million a year and they'd still lose. Oregon is what we thought they were.

How long is Riley’s contract? USC won’t be relevant until that’s all wrapped up.

I disagree about Riley. His bad habits in play calling, with him going more pass heavy than ever before and keeping Grinch so long is why we are here today. He sucks… school did well to swing for the fences on a hot star but he’s very unlikely to get us a natty.

No we can't. There's a HUGE shortage of above average football coaches at the college and pro levels. Keep LR. Have faith.

USC has an automatic 5-0 start in 2025 just based on its schedule. Then you have momentum.
