@IVIINT You can go to the academy and become an officer after you graduate, no it is not required to join if you wish to only go to basic training. The academy is rigurous but seems worth it.

Dude grades are good. But the academy looks for way more than grades. People have gotten in with less than a 3.5 gpa. One got in with like a 2.9. They only use grades as a minor part of there selection process. They want to see leadership, community service and prior knowledge to military stuff. Thats what they look for. You cant just get a 4.0 gpa to get in.

you don't have to do the academy. There is still basic training.

@TheBigshot416 you cant be married or have children in order to go to the academy and you must be under 22 I believe.
