I thought the interviewer was spot on. This lady had a story to tell, but the interviewer had to drag details out because the lady kind of assumed that we knew how she got from place to place. I thought the interviewer was good at finally getting this lady to give details, for exactly how she got to Germany,And during the interview all of a sudden she said that she couldn’t go to certain countries because they wouldn’t take children but she forgot to tell us that she even had children so we didn’t even know what she was talking about. The interviewer I had to go back many times to get details to make sense of this woman’s story. All in all it was a good interview and we finally understood most of whatShe went through. But she would just skip over things like the birth of her children! In one of the comments someone said that the interviewer sounded drunk and that was a horrible thing to say! The interviewer definitely did not sound intoxicated! What a terrible insulting thing to say!

The interviewer is annoying. She sounds like she's auditioning for a vampire blood killer role - "I vaaant your bluuuud". She loves hearing her own voice.

2 comments : 1. Before the interview the survivor abd interviewer have a preliminary talk and if the survivor forgets something the interviewer tries to get him/her back on track. 2. Both my grandparents are holocaust survivors, my mothers parents camr to Israel with 4 children, my mothet who was 2 years old and her little sister that was a baby were born in a dp camp. They came to israel on 1948 My father was also 2 years old when they came ovet at 1948. Israel wad founded to give refuge to all jews, with children or not Jews that decided to go to other places, that's perfectly all right, the conditions in Israel at the time wete very bad. But don't blame it on Israel

Who is to blame?
@tarotcornerofdew Жыл бұрын
@@laviadellacabala970 no one. People make their decisions in life and it’s perfectly fine, but stand by your decision and don’t try to find others to blame for your decisions, good or bad.

Tell this interviewer to stop interrupting when the survivor is speaking. They then seem to lose their train of thought. Plus it seems like she’s accusing her of not remembering or not knowing what was happening.

Excellent interviewer who steers the interviewee asking her to be specific. For instance when she keeps saying 'they'. Who?

This is the wrong interviewer. She distracts from the Survivor.

I'll never understand how people who live and work for 50 years in another country,don't speak perfectly the language of that country! The lady doesn"t know basic words in english,like she has moved to Australia 4 years ago!
