Most ppl i talk to tend to think that zvinoda varungu to hold a high standard inini ndinoti no, isu vanhu vatema we should have a very high standard on our own, taking care of our own resources for ourselves and not bank on foreigners to come and do it 4 us. I really hope we see our full potential in our lifetime, I really do.

Good for the people of Chivi. It is a pity the Bulawayo/ Nkayi road has remained a dream despite efforts to upgrade it started as far back as 1993.

Oh dawg i only realised 5 minutes into the film that mhandamabwe is the route i always used to travel to SA from Kwekwe, Geez man that road was a nightmare, at one point i remember a brigde half collapsed and the rdc of chivi made a makeshift bridge for buses to pass, the road was such a huge embarrassment & one that could make you hate Zimbabwe. I think my pride and confidence will be much better after seeing my road to home in such mint condition.

you know what i was thinking after reading your post and realised that there is one thing we as local zmbabweans home and abroad need to keep talking about and doing... planting trees where possible to protect this infrastructure i think it should be part of the ministry of this infrastructure to make sure certain zones along the highways are left planted with lots of trees to protect them i think it will be cheaper in the long run than going back and repairing gullies when rains an storms come, The problems are mostly man made and there are solution once we are proud of our country.

This road was a pain before.. .. I didn't see the completed part I only read . Wonderful man..Feeder roads are an important part of the road network. ... This is rural Zimbabwe.. and there is also a construction boom in communal homes... Zimbabwe will be unrecognisable soon

This is beautful chakanaka chakanaka ngachirumbidzwe, i think government must just widen all highway roads even if they are not busy roads and have a strong road patrol to monitor people villagers not to build their houses very close along the highways because in the future all highways roads will be duwal not single because population grow. thanks MR Zim we appreciate your work.

It was originally SHABANI NE TARA, at what used to be called makaranga bus station ku gweru. It was a bus route from gwelo, when u reached the then selukwe area after boterekwa , to shabani, then u would use tarred road or dust road via chachacha. Both routes could take u to shabani.
