USDMs Take Over Yokohama - Mooneyes Hot Rod Custom Show 2023

If you do enjoy a slight change of pace from the usual array of JDMs I present here on the channel, you'll love my yearly pilgrimage to Mooneyes' Hot Rod Custom Show. I've been covering the set up day of this event every year since 2009 for Speedhunters, a big favorite of mine as I get to see these rare customs and one off creations move around as they get positioned in their displays. Hearing them really adds a whole different vibe to the show and it's visually one of the coolest events in Japan.

Yokohama has been the top international show for traditional kustoms, hot rods, lowriders, mini trucks and choppers for so many years now, you can say it sets the bar for quality, but I wouldn't call it usdm as thst generally refers to modern cars. There are also a lot of domestic kustoms which I like so much, like that body dropped Kujira, absolute dream car 🖤🏴‍☠️

LOVE the show. First time seeing your content. Our tastes are different as I am a US born child of the 50's and 60's hot rod scene. Supposedly the company is coming out with a electric version called the Manx 2.0. 24;32 is a sedan delivery not a van! lol 27;59 that is a Dually, all to common here in the states! Because the bigger your truck then obviously the bigger your penis!!! I prefer the K cars and especially the vans! Like the on at 22;15.!.! Love it!!!
