Can I and my father complete a LPA for inheritance? For example, if he loses his mind (dementia) or passes away I to inherit fully the house, any savings in his bank account and all home contents? Or, should we create an Inheritance Will where the above is specifically stated?

Good afternoon, in order to create an LPA, you do not need a solicitor. It can be done online with our step by step guidance. www.lastingpowerofattorney.service.gov.uk/home we do have further podcasts available on filling in your LPA and how to avoid common mistakes. If you have complicated finances or complex relationships you may want to talk to a solicitor but not compulsory. I hope this helps, Laura

You say the service only available for LPA registered after 1 July, but don't state what year. You need to update this podcast. Personally, I think it should be replaced with a video.

The speed of speech is far too fast for people to understand and process what they are hearing. It would have been better with video as well to help prospective users understand, process and retain the information

If you go into the video's settings, you can select a slower playback speed: 0.75, 0.5 or 0.25.
