Great interview! Abigail Houston’s Melodically Memorizing videos have helped me memorize so many verses and have also helped me “hear” nuances in the verses that I hadn’t perceived prior by simply reading them, which brought me to a deeper understanding or pointed me to a link with other scripture I hadn’t seen before. And, btw, I am thrilled to have the verse come to mind along with the music, it’s a joy. I find myself singing God’s Holy Word while I do my day-to-day tasks, which is a form of meditating on the Word-a thing that probably rarely happens with multiple verses coming to mind sans music while doing chores. 😎 And David and the other writers of the psalms used phrasing directly from the Pentateuch to drive home points of God’s theology. 😊 Another benefit to knowing and memorizing scripture that wasn’t mentioned is that it helps the Christian to discern false teachings. Satan is well-versed in the scriptures and loves to twist them to confound the unaware into sin. Jesus used His own Word (quoting Deuteronomy) to fend off Satan’s unholy temptations when Satan twisted God’s meaning in His Word. God bless and keep you both! ❤️🙏🙏🙏🙏

I've been following Abigail's posts for 2 years on YT, and tho i have not always found them to facilitate memorization, i can vouch that on any given day, hearing one that pops up in my feed will, for that day, be strong encouragement as well as a musical hug from the Lord to me.
