there's a ton of good info here! keep up the good work! I'm building a printer that is going to have 8 stepper motors so one mcu is going to be used strictly for the z axis (4 corners), and the other is going to have 2 y's 1 x and 1 e. hoping i can find config examples somewhere of changing driver outputs to do what i need

Why tho? A skr board costs as much as an arduino and has all the bells and whistles for a printer, for cheap...

Do you have info or config for 2 Creality 4.2.2 boards I can look at? I can get 1 motor to work with the touch or both motors to work but the touch doesn't work for homing. 1 board will update to 0.12 the other is on 0.11 and refuses to update? I have a pinda original sensor in place but that isn't working either and I'm looking for code for that as well? Any help appreciated

This will allow me to add anything I want but in particular a bltouch to my cr-10 smarts in my print farm. The srock bed leveling is total and complete trash.

Can we give each board its own name in mcu section? Also, does each board need its own power supply?

One of the boards has to be called just [MCU], but the rest can be called whatever you want it to be called. You can power the boards from the same power supply, just make sure you have enough wattage to do so, all the heater, motors, fans, LEDs etc add up.
