Interesting, So the authorized cheat of putting a drop at the top of the hook as you just shout, that replaces the drop in the race? But the drops in the felt pads are necessary no matter what, is that right?

How can you tell the difference between a bernina bobbin and other bobbins? I bought some on amazon and not sure if they were officially bernina. Ty❤

I was told by my dealer to only oil the pads, nothing else. Should I start oiling the other part as well?

Only you should make that call but the machine shows to oil the metal areas too🙏

I love my 830 and 880 and am so sad that BERNINA went with the other bobbin design. I’ll not be buying a 990 anytime soon Only plus I see for it is the ruler stitch regulator but that’s not even very important since I stitch more by sound
