While the neural filters have made editing more convenient, they tend to mask the understanding of editing principles. Sort of like auto spell-checkers and grammar filters without the need to spell or write correctly. Of course, fine tuning the results is a must-do situation as AI is not the total answer-we are!

Wow. I have never seen a post filter system get things so wrong. I tried it for for the first time with a very happy image with tons of bright colors and it went "bonkers" and literally changed everything in the image to outrageous ridiculous colors. Blew my mind. Never seen a filter go so in the opposite direction. I reset and started doing it manually but I might as well save myself the trouble and money and do it in raw. Need to look at a little more but so far this is a little on the wacko side of AI.

The filters are certainly neat, at least several of them. But the way they're integrated kind of makes it look like they're third party plug-ins, rather than an official part of Photoshop. It's just a bit disconnected and messy.

When Filter Gallery was in use (and still is, for many people), it was in a separate area as well. I think they are separated because all of these use machine learning unlike other filters like a simple gaussian blur.

Hello. I follow your wonderful tutorials very carefully but, like many, I don't know English very well. Thankfully KZbin allows translation into all languages. For some strange reason the subtitles of this video are automatically generated in Dutch and not in English. This makes it practically impossible to correctly translate subtitles into other languages (meaningless translations come out). We would be delighted if this problem could be resolved. Thank you

Haha, that just keeps dirt/dust away. You need the mic to look clean for the camera 😆 And cleaning it is not easy either, so I just use that to prevent it from getting dirty. So when not in use, it's mostly "bagged"!
