I really enjoy the content I'm definitely two of the three types of players I want to be a better player but trying to grind up a bankroll took such a toll on me mentally that I stopped enjoying the game. Not to mention the the whole family avoiding Me from August till February. I'm happy to be a small bankroll player who likes the game. It's fun again and maybe I will get lucky this year.

I started watching you religiously last year but got to be honest did not implement any of the tactics of stacking a QB with pass catchers. I went back and looked at the 2021 season of Milly winners and my jaw hit the floor. You can correct me if I am wrong, but I have found the reason of stacking and I have seen the light at the end of the tunnel!!!!!!! Lamar Jackson last year week 5 (And again correct me on any of this if I am wrong and looking in the wrong places) scored 45 points! but guess what one that week... a tom brady double freaking stack. Like you say if you are going to win with a guy.. how are you going to win.

I’m a small time player with my top entry being $25 and finally last year I started playing smaller field qualifiers instead of big gpps and I won a ticket into king of the pitch, $555 mid season EPL where I took 4th and also a few wildcat tickets. Question, I'm a newby playing maybe $15-$20 a slate. Learning I should be playing more $3-$5 100 max tourneys. What strategy do I use in that kind of tourney? More of a cash strategy and hope to cash something or smarter to play single stack w/runback and maybe throw in a U-5% guy to give myself a chance to possibly win? Right now, I'm a "just for fun" player who just doesn't want to keep buying in $250 every couple of months

Al, should I be playing 50/50, or Double ups for better maximization? 50/50 pays 50% of the field but pays only 1.8x my entry fee. Double ups pay 2x, but only pay 43-45% of the field. Maybe put your answer in a future video too. Thanks.

Been watching for a minute, always greet content. Something I always wondered, is it better to use a site such as fantasy labs or rotogrinders for an optimizer, or just watch the news and hand build? I'm still learning this game!

without knowing everyone's individual details, I do believe that having access to a solid set of thoughtful projections and a quality lineup builder is important for someone who aspires to be a serious player. For the casual player it can also be extremely useful as a time saver as 99% of people playing have a 9-5 job and don't have time to be pouring over everything all the time. You're basically hiring someone to do all that for you and just be able to sit down and make sharper lineups with less of a time sink.

Play some 50/50 games too, I play tournaments but more of my money is put into 50/50 games which I’m good at only cuz I buy a pros Advice. The advice I get and research I pay for wins most 50/50 games. Also I play the same $ amount each week

Looking to up my DFS game this season and something I have never done before is actually track my bankroll but I'm not exactly sure which/how many things to track (ie., amount put into GPPs, amount put into cash games, field size, showdown v mainslate, etc.) Any specific metrics you suggest incorporating into a spreadsheet?

I use a site that just tracks everything for you. You just dump your entire site history csv into it and it spits out all the data.

Al, great video. I always feel odd if I’m entering one lineup into a small field 100 man tourney and that lineup goes off whereas my large fields maybe fall short. Would you still just build for specific contest sizes or throw the same lineup into different field sizes?

I put all my small field tournament lineups into the larger GPP's. They're lineups that are built to win tournaments, the field size doesn't matter. My cash game lineup plays in cash games only.

Hey Al, been a subscriber for awhile and love the content and everything your doing. I am a mid tier bank roll player who plans on only investing around $120 a week. I like to max out my tournament entries so I do the $3 20 entry max. When doing a 20 entry max, do you suggest running a optimizer or hand building these lineups? And for a player on a budget, what would you suggest is the best optimizer and projections website to subscribe to? I want to up my game this year and really become a better draft kings player. It doesn’t matter what you use to build, it matters HOW you build and that you’re comfortable with it. If you dont need the added speed and time acting ability, build by hand. 20 is manageable.

Depends on the contest and what sort of lineup you're trying to build. Build the lineup to win the competition you're entering. That means different things for different contests.
