Most of those are “power” font through a Final Cut plugin called ‘mRetrovision’ from MotionVFX

man I'm loving your content!! Kudos on both the execution (various sample footage) and getting the information across.

I watched the whole thing, agree with you completely, and still plan on using the higher number bitrate because I have issues 😂 I at least plan on doing HS because of the space savings and I always use proxies anyways. a7cii comes in 2 days, can't wait to test it against my zve10 :)

You’re not wrong that to most viewers it’s irrelevant. But I can definitely see the difference between the 60m and 100m from the ZV-e10 (what I shoot with) in this video. Even on my phone, and with the setting only being set to 720p. 😅 This is what I get for being a pixel peeper for 20 years, lol. It doubly shouldn’t matter for me when I like to shoot with vintage lenses and keep the sharpness turned down anyways. I think I’ll need to do some in person testing cause man, I could sure use the extra file space! 😂

Love your videos and how well you combine being so personable with tech details! Do you recommend 4K or HD for talking head youttube videos? (Some people are saying 4K gets ranked higher by the algorithm but if it is all get compressed does it matter?) Also, if I don't want to blur my background, are there other ways to make the footage look more professional? Assuming my lights are strong enough and the lens and angles are what I want---I feel like I'm missing something. Thanks!!!

I recommend 4k, at least for filming. You’ll notice I zoom in to the shot quite a bit on cuts to cover up messing up lines or stopping and starting, to make it look all smooth. And when you shoot in 4k, you’ve basically got 4 HD windows, so you can software zoom in to 200% and it’s still full HD in the final picture! As far as actual output to KZbin, there are definitely some giant channels that only ever use 1080, so I can’t imagine that matters all that much. I like the super super clear picture of 4k so I usually upload in 4k.

Intel has supported h265 for several generations. It's not just a mac thing.
@NicholasJamesJohnson2 ай бұрын
@@chrishan9138 support isn’t what I was talking about. There is a dedicated h.265 chip, separate from the CPUs that allows M1-M4s to handle h265 with no hit to the computer power. So you can simultaneously have 3 or 4 HEVC H264 4k streams on a multicam clip all running at full 4k resolution without dropping any frames. And you can do that on a 4 year old computer. By all means, load something like that up on a 4 year old windows machine and understand what I mean. Previous Mac’s WERE intel machines, and they skip and stutter and bog down with h265 clips
