It did and didn't for me. So if you have high perosity hair I don't recommend using the avocado oil because it gave my hair a bit of protein overload. I could tell specifically because I know my hair and it was kind of hard. But it did strengthen my hair, so I will say it did the job. If you have a low porosity hair than protein is for you so it may work better. But everything else did my hair just fine. I tried it again without the avocado oil and my hair was sooooo soft. Just make sure to rinse for atleast 5 minutes with a very strong stream because that castor oil wasn't budging for a while.

I really feel like naturals end up believing like our hair is never growing but the problem really isn’t growth, it’s length retention
@valerie.3 жыл бұрын
@@YesIlikebananasSo I agree. Sometimes it is a combination of both. If the average is 6 inch a year there will be people below it and people above it. My hair grows 3/4 inch a year. How do I know? I collored my roots and measured it after one year. Lets say I cut 1 inch of my hair every year.. That means I only retained 2 inches. it will take a long time for me to reach waist length than someone who grows 6 inch a year and retains 4-5 with cutting etc.
@cherishdeb3 жыл бұрын
Deep condition weekly..... I've also been natural about 13 years but length retention is the issue.
@CassieGrey213 жыл бұрын
Please pay attention to your ends. It they look thin, or feel weak and brittle or tend to knot up trim them at least once or twice a year and when you moisturize or deep condition your hair, focus it mostly on your ends. Your hair is growing but it’s not retaining length because your hair is falling off at the end close to the rate it’s growing. Also pay attention your diet. Your hair skin and nails need protein and vitamins to support it’s structure and growth. Are you eating right biotin, vitamin b, and healthy fats?, Salmon, tuna, dark leafy greens, avocado, nuts, or lean meats? And is your body absorbing them correctly. Are you drinking enough water? Are you stressed out and coping well? All these things matter towards your overall health and hair journey.

Your hair is SO BEAUTIFUL Sis! Thank you for this recipe. I can appreciate that it does not require a ton of ingredients and long steps. Will definitely give it a try in combination with “banding”. I just did a “Big Chop” 5 months ago due to damaged hair.

this formula is not good at all. banana and olive oil after putting it into your hair, when washing it sticks into the hair like evo-stick. please dont try it

Olive oil can penetrate too! I’m allergic to Avocados sadly, any exposure can end badly.

Hello Ms. Kelsey! Your conditioner is truly amazing for my hair growth. I just tried to place an order and for some reason I could not purchase anything. Please tell me you have not stop making your conditioner..... I'm in need of some like yesterday.
