It did and didn't for me. So if you have high perosity hair I don't recommend using the avocado oil because it gave my hair a bit of protein overload. I could tell specifically because I know my hair and it was kind of hard. But it did strengthen my hair, so I will say it did the job. If you have a low porosity hair than protein is for you so it may work better. But everything else did my hair just fine. I tried it again without the avocado oil and my hair was sooooo soft. Just make sure to rinse for atleast 5 minutes with a very strong stream because that castor oil wasn't budging for a while.

out of all the videos I've seen on 'growing hair', yours are the most authentic and down to earth. I haven't had long hair since I was a little girl and I cannot for the life of me get it to grow past my shoulders. I'm 'mixed' so people expect me to have long beautiful hair, but my stuff is rough okay? I'm only pale, but I got the naps that'd make my ancestors weep. I'm going to try your methods because(I went and looked up each thing to see if it for real was a thing) and it seems worth a shot. Thanks for your insight and the video!

I really feel like naturals end up believing like our hair is never growing but the problem really isn’t growth, it’s length retention
@valerie.
@valerie. 3 жыл бұрын
@@YesIlikebananasSo I agree. Sometimes it is a combination of both. If the average is 6 inch a year there will be people below it and people above it. My hair grows 3/4 inch a year. How do I know? I collored my roots and measured it after one year. Lets say I cut 1 inch of my hair every year.. That means I only retained 2 inches. it will take a long time for me to reach waist length than someone who grows 6 inch a year and retains 4-5 with cutting etc.

Please pay attention to your ends. It they look thin, or feel weak and brittle or tend to knot up trim them at least once or twice a year and when you moisturize or deep condition your hair, focus it mostly on your ends. Your hair is growing but it’s not retaining length because your hair is falling off at the end close to the rate it’s growing. Also pay attention your diet. Your hair skin and nails need protein and vitamins to support it’s structure and growth. Are you eating right biotin, vitamin b, and healthy fats?, Salmon, tuna, dark leafy greens, avocado, nuts, or lean meats? And is your body absorbing them correctly. Are you drinking enough water? Are you stressed out and coping well? All these things matter towards your overall health and hair journey.

I bet folks love hating on you. I love your hair I’m currently trying to grow mines I just can’t keep my scalp moisturized for anything. One thing I learned oil doesn’t moisturize, it just locks in moisturizer when I twist my hair I use a good leave in then go over with a light oil.

Yes, your hair is beautiful; however, it would be helpful to see a picture of your hair at the beginning of this process. Was it very short, damaged, etc. If I missed a previous video let me know.

This is great for low porosity hair because it’s easy to help the hair lock in Moisture. With low porosity hair it is hard for the hair shaft to even have it or retain moisture. So all the items in the hair can penetrate the hair shaft easy and coat the hair so this mask is great 👍 for someone like me. Thank you so much girl I 💕 love this.

Hi Lofe. I put too much protein in my hair now it's breaking can you help? Please
@lofecunningham4528
@lofecunningham4528 3 жыл бұрын
@@Sadmoviesmekmecry yes of course I can help. Try first to use a gentle cleanser shampoo. Something that doesn’t has sulfate because you don’t want to dry out your hair even more form the protein. Then try a moisture treatment. You can either make this at home or buy one. (Coco eves super nourishing coconut and fig mask, also Berigo Don’t despair deep repair mask) you can find a homemade one somewhere online if you want. Hope this helps.
