yeah I got derailed by that one. Now I don't know where Im at. now it says "Don't run the EnvironmentLoader twice......" and the Mii Maker doesn't do what they say it is supposed to. I would recommend people find another guide....

Thanks so much! I’ve been trying to jailbreak my WiiU for a while and wasn’t successful. But it’s finally working! I don’t think I did it exactly correctly because I have to open heath and safety and then mii maker to open the homebrew option but it works anyway. Thanks again!

How come the files I download are the same as Blaine’s but when I click into them, for example the udfine folder, I don’t see the same “wiiu” folder that he sees? I see an apps folder and then the udfine, and then inside that is 3 other files.

hey so i did everything and it worked, but when i went to go back up my sd card, there was nothing on it.. i had my wii homebrew stuff on there too and now everything is gone. is there any way i can recover that? also, when i launch the mii maker now it doesnt launch the homebrew channel. i have to power off my wii u and then select homebrew channel to use it

Great guide, got my Wii U jailbroken easily thanks to you! The only problem I have is when I try to use the nanddumper, it hangs on a white screen when I press A to run it. I leave it alone for a few minutes, but nothing happens, so I have to hold down the Power button on the console to force shutdown. This has been tried with 2 different SD cards. Any insight?

Hi Blaine, I've got a question for you, I'm planning on modding my Wii U, I had soft modded my Wii first gen back in 2010, I no longer have the console but I still have its 1TB external HDD with all my Wii and Gamecube games installed on it; I really don't remember what was my CFW and the apps I've used and installed since it was so long ago. But I was wondering if I could plug my HDD in a modded Wii U and if it would read the games installed on it?

The Wii U will only be able to read FAT32. I’m assuming your SD card is larger than 32 GB which would explain why windows won’t let you format it to FAT32. You can format it as FAT32 with GUIFormat

I have an older softmod installed on my Wii U. I did it several years ago and I don't remember which one I did. I have to press and hold the "B" button while tapping the homebrew launcher in order to get into the mod. I have an external hard drive with my games on it. What do I need to do in order to get Tiramsu installed? Do I need to revert it back to factory and start all over or is there an easier way to update it? I'm also worried about the memory error bricking my console at some point.

Whats the best homebrew for the OLED switch? I recently got one a week ago and did update the OS so will have to downgrade for sure. I know the OLEDs are harder to mod than the vanilla model so I'm wondering where can I find all the tools I need to get started. The reason for modding it is OCing it, themes, and to dump my physical card games on a micro SD. Also will I get banned if I go to the switch store or if I play online?

The only way to mod both Switch Lite and Oled is by installing a mod chip physically. If you want to softmod with atmosphere via the right joycon exploit, you'll need a V1 unpatched which is pretty much a day one Console.
