Hearing aids have been ready for disruption for a long time as they tech is old and the prices are silly, as you say. People are often in denial about any loss, so this is a great idea. Bluetooth audio devices are not helping any of this but that's another issue.

I hope that Google has plans for something like this as well. I got the Pixel Buds 2 and they are the first ear buds that don’t fall out or hurt my ears.

Good video bro. I am the perfect candidate for this but like yourself rock android! I have the pixel 8 pro and am waiting for the pixel 10 pro with the new chip manufacturer. Anyways is there any news to the android scene with the same tech? Would be willing to convert back to Sami if necessary. I refuse to buy hearing aids at 49!

would be good if they finally have some sort of setup app for iPod like apple watch. With this feature added, I can see it's probably coming in the next year since I'm guessing more and more configuration and setting is required.

If you need to use ear buds to properly hear than you should be going to an audiologist. Good hearing aids are about $6,000 at which point you wont be using the ear buds anymore. Thats why we have insurance.

Many insurances don’t cover much for hearing aids and people have to pay large amounts of money out-of-pocket to actually get them. I think this is a good alternative for people who need it.

@adrianphoenix5604 if you break a leg it's cheaper to duct tape some 2x2's to your leg rather than get a cast and pay for the insurance. 🤡
