I just bought RT-AX52 also for the Instant Guard but eventually found the that does not support ISP with private IP address. Instant Guard needs public IP address. 😪

You love asus router so much. In your opinion, which one is the best for handling IoT devices and has a wide signal range?

Love is a strong word. I cover more ASUS routers because people want to watch this type of devices more often. I am fairly certain I got on ASUS's black list years ago. To answer your question, I can only say that among the devices that I tested, the ASUS GT-AX6000 had the best range using the 5GHz radio band, while the RT-AX88U Pro had the best range using the 2.4GHz band. As for handling IoT devices, I assume you want to use the VLAN and the Guest Network Pro, so both of the aforementioned ones support these features. If you're wondering about stability, I have tested these routers for weeks to a month, so I can't vouch that you won't see disconnections. Probably the longest I have used was the RT-AX82U (for more than a year) which I didn't change because I have all my IoT devices connected to it and the only time I had issues with it was some software brain fart due to playing around with VPNs.

Is there an alternative to this for xiaomi routers? or if not, is there a docker i can install for BE7000 for similar functions?

It's just IPSec VPN which is supported by the BE7000 as far as I remember.
