I really liked this pimpest play, mostly because unlike most of the other pimpest plays, this wasn't a victory brought by quick fingers, but by pure strategy alone- awesome!

@ Darpinion When he built his first supply depot, he saw the probe coming from the south. Combining the direction and the speed of the probe, there was only one possible spot where the protoss could be.

once i saw the SCV did not attack the pylon I knew it was going to be a base swap. Two gates were too greedy by the protoss. Genius wall out with the depots and barracks, I did not see that coming.

probably the best pimpest plays in terms of strategy (not micro). everyone must have been thinking WTF when the command center and rax lifted off. originally just gonna relocate and wall off but ended up taking over a base and gging.

@TheZeppelinForever i think initially he was just trying to move his base over.. knowing that the toss wouldn't have much of an econ he knew that he would have time if he blocked off a new base and started over from there.. but.. fortunately for him the toss player was there for him to pick on.

SPOILER Think about it. That probe was sent out about as soon as it was possible to send it. There's no way it could have gotten to his base that fast if he had been at any other position, so the terran player knew where he had come from just based on timing.

On the contrary, the terran could have begun to build 2 supply depots, stopped building one, and started another, then returned to the first one to effectively wall off the enemy's base and complete the counter-contain. All the while building marines from his barracks to guard against the eventual zealots. The terran could have been better with his SCV micro too, to finish off the probes more quickly.

It's called playing the map before and watching the enemy's movements. Very easy to do early game.
