Yes, the record button in the app records the incoming signal only, nothing displayed in the app. Screen recording within iOS would record both.

Does this thing do the streaming itself, or is it sending through your phone's cell data? If so, the cell antenna and data can't handle 4k, so you'd have to upload 720p or maybe 1080p but that's a lot of data...how does it stream and how is it?

On a Canon mirrorless, just press the info button a few times to get the info desired. Can’t comment on other camera brands.

This is just what I was looking for. I have a Canon R8 which I love, but it disables video recording if an HDMI device is connected. So if I am to get this device and use it to record, will be losing any video quality compared to recording on the camera itself (4K at 30 fps mostly). Also, can I record C-Log files?

@@loransalabood3386 R8 disables video recording when HDMI is plugged in? How do you add an external monitor to your camera to monitor the footage via hdmi? 🤔 But to answer your question - yes you can record with SeeMo but the quality won’t be as good as the cameras. The bitrate I think was only 20mbps and no c-log. But yes for 4k30

@@TomsJurjaks thanks alot. And yea the R8 disable the recording on card if you choose HDMI and Display preview. But, if you are ok with the external monitor feed only, then yes you can record on the camera. Now, for most cameras that is no problem, but given the R8 uses the touch screen for focus (it doesn’t have a joystick like the R6 M2), so you will have to find a way around how to choose focus area with the touch screen off. I am still trying to figure a workaround this.

@@loransalabood3386 Sony has it somewhat similar - the cameras screen just goes blank and same as you explained, you lose the touch focus as well as other touch functions 😤 very annoying. Seems like HDMI is companies biggest enemy lol

I reviewed some Yongnuo and TTartisan lenses (although AF) and don’t particularly like or want to recommend them. Better to save up a bit more money for a decent lens

Hey there! Try SmallRig. They have bunch of cages. What I would probably do is use those small articulated arms to attach your phone somewhere else (because you still want it to be centered)

Hey I seen a video, a guy simply used a usbc-usbc cable, connected from the phone to a Sony zve10, using the monitor+ app. If that’s the case, why buy this accsoon adaptor ?

That is I believe unique to Sony. With Canon cameras there is no native app, so this is a brilliant solution.

Wow, this is nice! Today, Apple will introduce a new iPad, and then it's time to buy a new 12.9-inch one to use it as a camera monitor. Will the biggest iPad also work, and which accessories do I need? I have the Sony A7IV.

Yeah the new iPad must be really nice. Imagine all that real estate 🤌 the only accessory you need is the iPad Cage. Accsoon has one for 12.9”. Its called Accsoon PowerCage Pro II for the 12.9” iPad Pro. I am not 100% sure if it will fit 1:1 with the new iPad since its slimmer but im sure Accsoon will make a new one if it doesnt.

Only 4k30 20mbps bitrate only if record direct to phone? So pretty useless as a 4K recorder if you need to shoot 4k120 and cant record to phone. I guess you can still record straight to SD card on camera and just use as a camera monitor. You can't even record any kind of videos to the Accsoon Seemo SD Card slot at all. :/
