2006 Audi A6 .. approaching 200,000 miles. Just did valve cover gaskets and cam adjuster solenoids, coil packs, spark plugs, air filter, the usual 5-40 Mobil/Castrol with a good 10k filter. I’ve owned about 12 Hondas/Acura. A Mercedes and another Audi S4 and out of all the Germans the a6 has been pretty darn reliable tbh honest. Almost 200k still happily on the road getting 20-24mpg. Not a bad beater if you tell me.

@muheedmahroof8111 👍 the odometer shows over 280k but it has been rolled back from what I know, so it's more like 500k

I draw the short stick just bought a 3.2 and it failed to start day one. Going to the garage next month going to cost a lot probably.

You got an update?

Still at the garage starter was broken some more codes and faulty handbrake something with the wires of the caliper. Costs 1700 euro this and probably will find more problems later. I’m determined to get it fixed it’s a beautiful car.

That starter was a surprise to me a normal car clicks or makes a sound when it’s broken. The Audi nothing only thing was the dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree and beeping loudly.

Have you fixed ALL the oil leaks, changed the plastic water pump early, the valve cover gaskets over and over, the plastic water distribution set, etc etc

@@orlandolopez4410 No because i did not require to fix anything, and i drive the car for 2 years already. 180.000km when i bought and now its 250.000. If you dont have this engine dont talk about it.

@@DennisBonich im from china,my a6l c6 is 2.4l cvt,18 mpg. Burn engine oil, because the piston ring is aluminum and very soft. And the oil return ring is very small and easy to be blocked。
