Sad thing about 200cc scoots in the uk is you need a A2 licence to ride them but they are not much different in power to a 125 which can be ridden on a CBT,

Plus if you want a bigger scoot not many schools (well none that I know!) have a scooter that meats the specs for A2. I supposed you could buy the A2 scooter yourself. But imagine all the complications with that!!!!!!!!

Totally agree, that’s why you don’t see many. They are a decent option for a second bike if you have a full licence but so is a 125.

Ive got this bike in a 50cc variant they are very comfortable and capable city machines, the suspension is very good and comfortable as well.

I have Jet X 200.And is good bike. It has 12.2 HP,and it goes comfortably at 80-85 kmh,which is good somehow. I am definetly putting some dr pulleys and I want to increase horsepower just a little bit,so at 90 kmh I am at 6500 rpm,Not at 7500 rpm.

The Jet14 is a nice as a 50 too. For me 125 is alright for what I want on the flat. But here where I live there are hills to negotiate and extra ponies help.

I think the Sym scooters and the scooters that use their engines are the best 125’s you can buy. These 200’s give you a little bit extra but not much. It’s not worth swapping a 125 for one, but not a bad option for a second bike if you have a full licence and just want something to zip about on.

Ive got the 50cc jet 14 for riding to work across town and its a lovely bike. Most of the roads are 20mph limit now that i ride on so it's not a problem being restricted to 30mph.

@@ramborambokitchenkitchen6357 A lady on the CBT had upgraded from a 50cc Jet to 125cc. Her husband and son made her do it. She said she preferred her 50cc and missed it. Only a little dot of a lady.

@@clangerbasher pretty big bike for a small woman, I'm 6 foot and feel like it's the perfect size for me. I see quite a lot of the 125 versions being used as delivery bikes where I live. I like my 50cc though there's a certain charm to it not to mention the insurance is a lot cheaper for somebody on a CBT like myself.

@@ramborambokitchenkitchen6357 She is about the size of a Thai. It is a mystery to me why scooters are sized so big when SE Asians are still smaller than us Westerners. But SE Asia is the bigger market by far. I am old enough to ride a 50cc on a car licence.
