Just experienced purchasing mileage tampered car from a very very reputable car seller. Therefore, I trust finding a car with properly documented car service record that reflects the true mileage is preferable even though it may not show that there's no other issue. At least the condition of the car is a bit more predictable vs a car with a modified mileage. It would be good to learn some insights in how to identify potential mileage tampered car. most used car dealers will refund your deposit...ahem. My personal experience: some dealers choose not to irregardless of the inspection outcome, some just delay the refund, while some may refund a little portion. Used car buying in Malaysia especially with used car dealers requires owner to stomach a lot of risks in general. I would recommend to visit brand's pre owned models if one cannot stomach too much risks in this process.

Check the Google and FB reviews of the used car dealer to get a feel of this dealer's trustworthiness before visiting them. There are good dealers and there are bad dealers. The dealers I have worked with typically refund deposit if terms are properly agreed upon.

In such transactions, it's really a matter of trust between the two parties. Best is to pay a small deposit, then as you perform the name transfer, perform an online bank transfer

Yes, old plates can only be transferred to unregistered cars, new or recon.

Most cars can take up to 90%, but yes, age is a factor. Some banks will give you lower financing margin for older cars

Hey Kon, great video as always! I'm considering 330i G20 Pre-LCI 2021 from BMW Premium Selection. Heard there are many issues on the quality, such as rattling, suspension knocking and so forth. In your opinion, is it worth buying? (I'm a petrol head, first time into Conti)

I have not heard of these complaints you mentioned, but one very valid issue with the 330i is the harsh ride. Do test drive and decide if you can live with the ride quality before committing. Otherwise, consider the 320i.
