Harrison, what do you think advertising is exactly? Effective ad's resonate with consumers. He took the same tact a lot of auto manufacturers do to showcase their models, and made it his own showcasing his girlfriend's car. Advertising is not about reinventing the wheel, it's about making a sale. Which from the looks of it he's doing a pretty damn decent job of it.
